Chocolate anyone?

For t hose of you who haven’t noticed. There’s an egg hunt craze going on. I’ve spent a “small” bit of time getting all the achievements done. I think a picture tells more than a thousand words.

Got chocolate?

I mean, this is just 400 eggs worth of stuff right there, but let’s not ignore the 100 chocolates eaten for the achievement. Or the fact that I bought most of the stuff from chocolates to do some achievements early on. Some even twice because at first I tested if buying them would count for achievement, then threw them away, and then bought them again when I got tired of searching and just wanted to do something else. And I also bought a dress and tuxedo for my bank alt. And a few more of those eggs that I have already used up. We’re looking at a total of over 800 eggs.

You know what eluded me for so long? The bloody Tuxedo Shirt. I found 7 tuxedo pants, 4 elegants dresses, 4 minipets, 3 bunny circlets, 6 spring robes and 3 flowers. My fiancee found the tuxedo set for two characters long before I found mine. I have this thing about RNG and achievements, I’m not really lucky.

But now I’m finally done. I can go back and do the tournament dailies. I haven’t missed a single day so far, and I’m looking at exalted argent champion in 14 days. =)

The design is starting to take shape, I’ve fixed the pages drop down menus (check upper left corner). I’ve found a template that is a good starting point for fixing what I want.

I’m looking for a good name for the blog though. Anyone got any ideas?

Sorry about the logo on the right side covering up some of the links. It’s the best I could do with it for now, and it’s for a politcal cause I believe in. I’m working on a better solution involving hosting my blog on my own site. For more information regarding the logo, go to Piratpartiet (Swe) / The Swedish Pirate Party (Eng).

Edit: The logo works much better in this new location.

The new and “improved” Thunderstomp

WoW, this was a huge nerf. I’m getting crits on Thunderstomp for 1.1K with BW active now. Pre-patch it was hitting for 1.8K. AoE aggro is severly nerfed. Tried some farming, but pulled aggro all the time with volley. Never happened pre-patch while BW was active.

Guess we should have learned by now that when Blizzard states they are changing how it works, but that the damage should still be about the same, they are lying.

1 single night left.

That’s the timelimit I have to get Glory of the raider and a 310% mount. I’ve been going at him for 4 hours every single night this week. We’re doing the speed kill version of it, and we’re really pushing it. We’ve had both a 2% and a 3% wipe. Both would have been kills if the tank hadn’t died at 15%.

I’m pushing my dps to the limit. 4.4K dps with BM spec on the 2% wipe. Not too shabby.

Tonight’s the night we’re gonna make it happen. I sure am glad I don’t live in the US where the patch is being applied as we speak.

This is also the reason why I’ve been a bit inactive with posting more Naxx tanking strats. Plus I have a guildie visiting over the easter, and he’ll probably stay until next weekend.

The first wing of Tanking Naxx has now been fully covered. The Tanking Naxx featurette now include tactics for all 3 bosses of the Spider Wing, Anub’Rekhan, Grand Widow Faerlina and Maexxna.

I’m going to publish a few articles about tactics when tanking with a hunter in Naxx. I’m starting off with the spider wing, as I find that to be the easiest wing to tank as a hunter, in theory. The first boss out is Anub’Rekhan. Feel free to come with feed back, good or bad. And if you’ve used any of my strategies, or modified it to get a kill, please do brag about it! =)

If you have a tanking article, or simply basic pointers, for a fight I have yet to cover, feel free to send it to me at spam(at)nightcrew.se. An example, hint hint, would be Durante writing about how he did the incredibly feat of tanking Sapphiron. I’d even dare say, it was quite the opposite of being vacuous.

After weeks of working on Kalimdor I finally found a questline of 2 quests I had previously missed in northern Barrens. And seeing that I had 698/700 when I found them I was really happy. I only had a few hard AQ questline and raid quests left when I found it. Thank God for wowhead and the ability to show questgivers for any certain zone.

Currently working on Sarth3D 10 man. Having a break now. Going decently. Some tries we’ve had enough dps for first drake, but others we’re just barely too late for whelps. Well, time to clear trash again, wish me luck.
